The Baladi Bus
From London to Adelaide to Brisbane. This bus has done millions of miles and it’s still going and we are going to do our best to do it justice, keep its originality and its authenticity while keeping it alive and beautiful.
We brought the bus home to Brisbane in March 2022 and since then, Anton has been working tirelessly to fix it up!
We’ve polished the London Red paint back to life and cleaned the ceilings, the seats (removed an unbelievable amount of gum 😂) and the floors… Spent weeks removing masking tape glue residue with cloth, some chemical (Solvit) and by fingers (ouh boy do they hurt) 😅, after that I have applied 3 layers of rubber rejuvenation product. Made first prototype of LED light 💡 and finally 3 seats missing are taking some shape 🙃
It has been a labour of love and we are so excited to share our big plans with you this year so stay tuned!
